There are more than 30 organized churches covering northern lower Michigan from Flint to Traverse City . The grounds cover 20 acres on the north shore of beautiful Lake Cadillac. The church was named in honor of Rev. Ada White-Ramsey who was the first to bring the Wesleyan message to this part of Alabama. She and her husband, Pierce Clayton [P.C.] Ramsey, started the church in 1906.
