      General note

1907 General Conference Journal Four years ago, "I [E. Teter] was authorized to organize a mission conference in Oklahoma. I did so. I now present for reception as a conference, to be known as the Oklahoma conference, and to embrace the state of Oklahoma as to territory, twelve churches, with 25 members, and six elders." The earliest journal on file is from 1904, which specifies it is the first annual session. It is listed as a conference with defined boundaries (the state of Oklahoma) in the 1907 WM Discipline.
