      The first mention of this district is in the 1887 Discipline' "The Pacific Conference comprises all the territory west of the Rocky Mountains." This district is mentioned in the statistical report of the 1891 General Conference. The stats report mentions 3 appointments and 8 churches, 1 meeting house, and 109 members. 1895 General Conference journal notes that Pacific did not submit any stats for the General Conference. There is no mention of Pacific in the 1899 General Conference Journal.
